Ruth talked with David Kessen from the Star about the refurbished cobbled surface on Western Road in Crookes.

“Although some were very clear in their desire to regain the historic appearance of the street, it’s been a project not without disagreement, inconvenience and upset. I remain ambivalent.”

Ruth is not convinced that the completed work lives up to what was promised by the contractor, and has pledged to follow this up with residents and Streets Ahead.
