Register to vote (or check if you are already registered / change your details). Each person in a household must register separately.

Get a Postal or Proxy vote in case you are not able to go to your local Polling Station on election day.

STUDENTS

If you’re at the University of Sheffield, you may have been automatically registered to vote when you first enrolled as a student. If you have moved since then, you should ensure that you are registered at your current address. Each person in a household must register separately to get a vote.

YOU CAN VOTE TWICE! If you are a student and have uni and home addresses in different local authorities, you can register for a vote in local elections in both places. Getting a Postal Vote or Proxy vote is a great idea, so that you are able to take part in both local elections.
