Ecclesall Branch
We are a friendly and active branch and encourage all members to take part in our activities in whatever way best suits their skills and interests.
We value your input
Your local Labour Party is here to take up issues that affect people in Ecclesall ward and nationally, and to hear about changes that residents’ would like to see happen. At present we do not have a Labour councillor to speak for Ecclesall on Sheffield City Council – we hope to change that soon. Do get in touch if you have concerns we can help with, or a local project you think might be of interest to us.
Ecclesall branch meetings
Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 7.30pm (no meeting in August), ordinarily at Bents Green Methodist Church, Ringinglow Road, Sheffield S11 9SJ (side entrance, opposite Bents Green shops); while Covid-19 prevents safe in-person meetings, we meet online using Zoom.
Supporting the Branch: how members can help
Taking an active part in the work of the local Branch is interesting and rewarding; it keeps you up to date with new and ongoing issues and gives you an opportunity to have your say on the local and national political agenda. In the run-up to local or general elections members can help by delivering election leaflets, speaking to voters at street stalls, and/or displaying posters and garden signs. You can also contribute by helping to identify Labour voters by telephone and personal contact by door-to-door visits.
How the Branch is funded
We rely on donations and fundraising events to fund our activities, including election campaigns. If you want to help organise these, please do get in touch. >Make a donation
