Olivia: “Thanks so much to Sheffield Hallam members. Together, we will win the seat and elect a Labour Government led by Jeremy Corbyn to transform our country.”

On 15th December 2018, local Labour Party members selected Olivia Blake to be Sheffield Hallam’s new Parliamentary candidate.

Olivia’s appointment was undertaken via a full selection process involving a panel elected from the local party membership, alongside members of trade unions affiliated to Hallam Labour Party, a representative of the Cooperative Party, and an observer from the Yorkshire & Humber Labour Party office.

Olivia received nominations from several trade unions, as well as from all five branches of Hallam Labour Party.
