VICTORY!

This petition received around 1000 signatures and is now closed.
On 13th February 2023 we heard that the proposals to close the enquiry office had been shelved.
THANK YOU to everyone who took action to let Royal Mail know how highly valued these local services are to people.

Petition to: Royal Mail
Started by: John Wright

I am deeply concerned to hear that Royal Mail may have plans to permanently close the enquiry office in Crosspool.

I believe that this closure would be disastrous for local residents and businesses, and the wider community that is served by the delivery office.

I am also deeply concerned about the lack of awareness about this potential change, and the complete lack of public consultation between Royal Mail and residents who use this delivery office in Crosspool.

This is a vital public service and, since the closure of the Ecclesall Road office in 2016, is the closest collection point for thousands of residents in the west of the city. Any reduction to the Crosspool service is untenable for this reason alone.

Please reconsider any reduction to our delivery office services!
